Over 70 churches have partnered with us for Freedom Day 2022! Each week they will be showing a video, introducing Freedom Day and what it means for survivors of human trafficking in Uganda.

Ever since God moved us to open the first-ever Christian aftercare center for survivors from Karamoja, our heartbeat has been to “Keep Them Free”. Freedom doesn’t truly begin until a survivor has been set free, rediscovered their true identity as an image-bearer of God, been given a skill or trade and resettled in their homeland. Even then, there is much work to do to change the harmful, desperate thinking and wicked practices of the communities to which they are returning.

Hope’s Cry exists to empower leaders to create communities where trafficking cannot exist. That takes all of us. It takes an organization with a willingness to go where no other organization has dared establish a presence. It takes amazing staff and care workers to transition these survivors from a life of slavery into a life of happiness, fulfillment and freedom. It takes community leaders educating children, teachers and parents how to think ahead, care for their family and identify threats. It takes the power of the Gospel transforming the wickedness of the hearts of men and women in Karamoja.

And, it takes you. Your prayers and your gifts are the engine that makes all of this possible. Thanks to you, we have cut our financial need to open the Hope Center nearly in half in just three weeks.

With less than 30 days to go until the opening of the Hope Center and the launch of our aftercare program, we invite you to join with us and our partner churches to pray and give. Freedom Day is coming. And what a day it will be!

On Saturday, a dear friend of our ministry, Stan Bailey, helped organize a golf tournament in Greeneville, TN. Thanks to overwhelming support from the community and the golfers who showed up to participate, this was our most successful fundraiser ever. We raised over $9,000!

A huge thank you to Stan Bailey and his family for organizing this event and thank you to the Greenville community for sponsoring and participating with us to “Keep Them Free”.
