Hope’s Cry and EverFree have partnered together to build the first rehabiliation center for human trafficking survivors on the doorstep of the Karamoja region of Uganda, Africa.
Karamoja is home to over 1,000,000 people who, until now, have had no access to the Gospel. We hope to carry the Gospel to them in the arms of the rescued and restored from among their own people.

What Is Freedom Day 2022?
Freedom Day is the grand opening of the first rehabiliation center for survivors of human trafficking in the Karamoja region. Despite this region being one of the most heavily victimized areas in all of Africa for human trafficking, until now, there has been no organization working to resettle survivors back to their home villages.
Why Karamoja?
Karamoja, Uganda, is home to more than 1 million people. Less than 1% of them have ever heard the Gospel.
We are taking the Gospel to them for the first time in the hands and hearts of their own people who have been rescued from trafficking and restored to new life.
How Can We Get Involved?
If you would like to host a Freedom Day at your church, simply fill out a request form and we will call you to explain the details.
We will be sending all our church partners a series of short videos to raise awareness of our mission. In addition, we will send you a prayer list leading up to the grand opening of the new center.
