,Last year, a road was cleared through a small village in rural Uganda. We watched the heavy machines rip through the brush and make a new roadway where there had previously been only a footpath.

This road leads right to the doorstep of the Hope Center; the first-ever Christian rehabilitation facility for survivors of human trafficking in Karamoja, Uganda. In less than 4 full weeks from today, survivors will drive down that road and begin the next chapter of their new life.

The road is just a road…but it’s also more than that. It’s a symbol of all the work we have accomplished together. It marks the journey of a trafficked girl, one that she has been forced to take, and symbolizes the path to freedom now in front of her. As she steps foot on Hope property, she will be safe, protected, cared for and released into a life of overwhelming joy and freedom that she never dreamed possible.

She will rediscover her identity as an image-bearer of God. Her purpose in His plan will begin to become clear as the hope of the Gospel penetrates through years of indoctrination, lies and manipulation. She will be set free.

You did that.

Together, we built the road to freedom. Now, she can walk it. Not just to become free, but to stay free and lead others to freedom.

We are almost across the finish line. But, there is still much to do. We need your prayers more than ever.

Thanks to you, the $30,000 that was needed has been cut in half! We are so close to having all the funding we need to open the center on time and at full capacity.

Thank you for your role in helping us to keep them free.
