Human trafficking is fueled by desperation. When people are desperate, they will do anything to survive and help their children to survive; including selling them into slavery. While this seems unimaginable to our Western readers, none of us have ever experienced the sort of life-threatening desperation that causes such unthinkable decisions.
One of the major contributors to desperation in Uganda is drought. Currently, the area where our ministry center is located is experiencing terrible drought. If you would, take a minute here and pray for rain with us!
