These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, donation checkout, and donor/staff portals operated by Hope’s Cry International (“Hope’s Cry,” “we,” “us”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 27‑2584815), 45177 River Rd., Hammond, LA 70401. By using the site or making a donation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The service
We provide an online platform to make donations to Hope’s Cry, receive tax receipts, and (if you have an account) view your giving history and manage your communication preferences. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
2. Donations
- Voluntary & charitable. All donations are voluntary gifts to Hope’s Cry.
- Tax deductibility. Hope’s Cry is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 27‑2584815); donations are tax‑deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution unless expressly stated. We issue receipts for your records.
- Payment. Donations are processed by Stripe. By donating, you authorize the charge and represent that you are permitted to use the payment method.
- Recurring gifts. If you set up a recurring donation, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You may cancel at any time via your portal or by contacting us.
- Refunds & errors. Donations are generally final. If a donation was made in error or is unauthorized, contact info@hopescry.com promptly and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
3. Accounts
If you create or are given an account (donor portal or staff), you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
